Faith Community Church is an elder-led Bible-teaching church in the Portlaoise area of Ireland. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally and regionally.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only way to salvation. We invite you to join us in worship and fellowship. Our church is led by a team of elders who teach the Bible and provide pastoral care for our men, women, and youth. We desire to help them all grow in their faith. Whether you are new to the area or searching for a new church home, we welcome you to join us.

Faith Community Church is meeting in the town of Portlaoise!
During our service, we sing congregationally, we pray corporately, and we read Scripture confident that God's purposes will be completed. We sit under the expository preaching of God's Word ready to be changed by the teaching we receive.

Plough a Straight Furrow with Faith Community Church
Just as ploughing a straight furrow anticipates a harvest from the soil, preaching to unearth the truth of God's Word anticipates a harvest of righteousness. Here in the Midlands, Faith Community Church is called to share the good news of salvation and to equip believers to grow in their faith through studying and applying the Bible in their daily lives. Our church emphasizes the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, and the centrality of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life. We strive to live out these core beliefs in our worship, teaching, fellowship, and outreach, and we invite you to come and experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing and serving God.
Faith Community Church Elders
Tim Coyle holds an B.A. from California Baptist University, an M.Div. from The Master's Seminary, and a Th.M. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in various churches in the United States, England, and Ireland as a missionary and pastor.
Bill Wittmer holds an B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and worked in the information technology sector before entering full-time vocational ministry. Bill served in churches in the United States and Ireland prior to joining Tim to shepherd Faith Community Church.
